The Provencal market is a highlight of the village, every Wednesday and Sunday from 8am to 1pm, all year round. A must for buying local produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, honey, olive oil, cheeses and typical Provencal products.
In October, the Fête de la châtaigne (chestnut festival) in La Garde-Freinet is a traditional market for chestnuts and chestnut products, with a host of events bringing together the whole region.
